"Can I do yoga?" Yes, this is yoga for your body, for any body.
For beginners, or for those with a lot of yoga experience.
Kindness, compassion and loving kindness are the most important qualities that we can bring to our daily lives.
Yoga is truly about meeting ourselves exactly as we are, befriending ourselves as we expand our breath awareness, our awareness of sensation, emotion, thoughts and all aspects of our being.
What is Sun Moon Yoga?
Gentle, accessible Hatha Yoga with supportive, healing messages- meeting you exactly as you are.
We'll draw from the deep wisdom pools of yoga to bring forth gems we can apply to our daily lives.
You can expect a warm welcome from a kind community of practitioners. Simple movements, beautiful inspiring poetry and readings, kind guidance. Permission to move and to be exactly as you are. And as you continue, you will notice yourself becoming stronger, more flexible, and better able to respond to life's challenges; less likely to react out of old patterns that no longer serve. As we practice together, we notice that we can draw upon all the resources of the Universe to expand our well-being. We are not alone, and we are not small.
Together, we will weave what is happening in the seasons of our daily lives into the practices, and the practices into our daily lives.
There is no way to do any of it wrong. There is spaciousness and encouragement for exploring what feels good to you in your own body.

This class was offered from 2011 til 2020 at River Garden Yoga in St. Paul. It has been offered via Zoom since then. River Garden Yoga fostered a wonderful community of practice for many years.
